For almost two consecutive decades, Step2 have been commissioned every year by the Stockholm Business Region to create and produce the concept and content of the Region’s exhibition stand at MIPIM in Cannes. MIPIM is the world’s leading real estate exhibition, attracting investors, city and property developers and other stakeholders from all corners of the world. The Stockholm Business Region’s main objectives for MIPIM are to communicate the benefits of investing in the Stockholm property market and to provide an inspiring meeting point for all stakeholders in the industry.
With the consensual motto “less is more”, we have narrated the Stockholm Story with a few core messages, highlighting the city’s most relevant and attractive properties for investors. Each year the story has been edged forward and kept in perfect sync with what’s just around the corner, both from a market perspective and in terms of the city’s infrastructure. To do this, we’ve employed the latest state-of-the-art technological advances such as AR, VR and other means of digital communication.
In spite of the extreme global competition and ultra-busy environment at MIPIM, the Stockholm stand has always attracted more visitors and media attention than originally expected. The way we tell the Stockholm Story has become a hot topic among visitors and exhibitors alike, with expectations constantly growing as to what new magic tricks Stockholm will pull out of its sleeve at future MIPIM’s. It’s hard to think of a better compliment on our work.
